OHIO GOV. MIKE DEWINE REVISED STATE’S MASK ORDER IN MAY

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine in May revised the state’s health and safety guidelines to coincide with the directives from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.


FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Do I have to wear a mask or face covering while visiting the Hall?

A: Effective May 28, visitors to the Pro Football Hall of Fame who are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus may stop wearing masks or maintaining social distance inside the Museum. (Fully vaccinated means it has been at least two weeks since a final vaccination date.) For guests who are not fully vaccinated, masks will continue to be encouraged. This applies to anyone who is 10 years old or older.

Q: Does my child have to wear a mask while visiting the Hall?

A: It depends. Children 9 years old and younger do NOT have to wear a mask/face covering. The order requires those 10 years old or older to wear a mask.

Q: Who does not have to wear a mask or face covering while visiting the Hall?

A: Those who do not have to wear a mask or face covering while visiting the Hall include:

  • Those age 10 and older who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • Children 9 years old and younger.
  • Those with a medical condition or a disability.
  • Those communicating with someone with a disability.
  • Those who are actively involved in public safety.
  • Those who are actively eating or drinking.

Q: If I am not vaccinated, do I have to wear a face covering/mask?

A: Anyone who is not fully vaccinated is encouraged to continue wearing a mask, per the directive of the CDC and Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine.

Q: I have a medical condition or a disability. Do I have to wear a mask?

A: No.


OTHER SAFETY MEASURES

Each safety measure adopted for employees and guests meets or exceeds its recommendation set by the state of Ohio and federal health standards for visiting a museum and retail establishment.

Among the enhanced safety measures remaining in place at the Hall of Fame Museum include:

  • Guests will continue to find numerous hand sanitation stations throughout the Museum.
  • Plexiglass barriers will stay in the Retail Store checkout and Guest Services welcome areas.
  • One-way traffic flow through the Museum will be retained and encouraged throughout the Museum, although not mandatory.
