'The Mission:' Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2003's James Lofton
The Pro Football Hall of Fame is ready for the 2022 NFL season, and the newest episode of “The Mission” is now available.
Throughout the ’22 NFL season, the vision of "The Mission" podcast is to connect viewers and listeners with Hall of Famers to help break down some of the league’s prime-time matchups, historical matchups and current news storylines and to learn about the treasured life lessons the game of football has taught these gridiron warriors.
To help look ahead to Week 9 of the NFL schedule, joining "The Mission" is Green Bay Packers Legend JAMES LOFTON, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2003.
The former No. 1 receiver led the Packers in receptions for eight of his nine seasons. In five of those years, he gained more than 1,000 receiving yards. Lofton was only the fifth player in NFL history to reach that milestone, joining Hall of Famers LANCE ALWORTH, STEVE LARGENT and DON MAYNARD, along with Legend Art Powell.
Lofton wrapped up a 16-season career with 76 total touchdowns, 14,004 receiving yards and 764 receptions. He was selected to eight Pro Bowls.
Watch and listen as Lofton talks breaks down the top four NFL power ranking quarterbacks, his personal playing experience against Cincinnati Bengals Legend and Class of 2023 Seniors Category Finalist Ken Riley and so much more!
