The Mission: Featuring former Cowboy Daryl Johnston, The USFL's Executive VP of Football Operations

The new USFL concludes its inaugural season with its Playoffs and Championship over the next two weekends at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton.

This week’s special guests on “The Mission” podcast is former Dallas Cowboys legend Daryl Johnston, Executive Vice President of Football Operations for the USFL. 

On the podcast, Johnston shares his goals and vision for the USFL. A three-time Super Bowl champion, he is proud to have had the opportunity to play in the Hall of Fame Game and to witness the enshrinement of his former colleagues.

“To attend my former teammates Enshrinements were amazing,” Johnston said. “The relationship that Emmitt Smith and I had together is obviously something that is very special to me, and that will always be one of my proudest moments in Canton.”

This Friday, Johnston is hosting more than 250 coaches and players at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

“How amazing is that,” he said. “The experience they will have in Canton will be life-changing.”
