Harris and Bleier rush for 1,000 yards
In 1976, the Pittsburgh Steelers became the second team in National Football League history ever to produce multiple 1,000-yard rushers in the same season.
Four years after the Miami’s Dolphins tandem of Larry Csonka and Eugene “Mercury” Morris became the first 1,000-yard duo, the Steelers’ Franco Harris and backfield mate Rocky Bleier teamed up to match that feat.
